Mixed media artist Polly Law brings the art of mythologeny to Patchogue Arts Council’s satellite gallery at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts from August 2 through September 29 in her exhibition Means of Attachment.  Kingston, NY artist Polly Law shares her “mythic tales” through a technique known as bricolage, using materials “at hand” applied through a variety of techniques. Employing paper dolls “with deep personal issues” she takes a seemingly playful subject and turns it into an avenue to address larger societal issues.

The exhibition is curated by John Cino and is on view at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts from August 2 – September 29, 2019. The gallery is open before and during all theater events and regular theater business hours between 12:00 – 6:00 PM. There will be a reception for the artist on Wednesday, August 14 at 6 pm.
