Guest Curator Lauren Cesiro

The Annual Juried Members Exhibition gives all current members of the Patchogue Arts Council the opportunity to submit work for possible exhibit at MoCA L.I., located at 20 Terry St. Suite 116, in Patchogue, NY. There is no submission fee, and artists are invited to submit up to two works of art in any medium that are recent. The exhibition highlights the many talents of the Patchogue Arts Council members, exhibiting a mixture of painting, sculpture, photography, and more. 2025 marks the thirteenth year PAC has held an exhibition exclusively for its members.

About our guest curator | Lauren Cesiro, PhD Lauren Cesiro holds a B.A in Studio Art from Fairfield University, an M.A in Art History and Criticism from Stony Brook University, and a PhD in Art History from Binghamton University.  She studies the history of photography with a focus on twentieth century American photography, art, and visual culture.  Her recent research interest includes representation and the body in photography, vision, and visuality.  She has taught Art History courses that range from Ancient Art to Contemporary Art for over ten years.  Currently she is a Lecturer of Art History at Farmingdale State College.
