Mini MoCA: “Your Brain on Art” Curated by Dr. Ko and facilitated by Robert Stenzel.
An open call celebrating the brain as both organ and muse. Where ideas spark, emotions surge, and imagination takes shape. From architecture and memory to healing and altered states, this showcase explores the infinite interplay between science and art.

“The brain is the canvas. Art is the expression.”

Art doesn’t have to be large. It can come in all sizes, from all ages, and all abilities.
The miniMoCA art gallery is a satellite installation designed to encourage community involvement with PAC/MoCA through open and accessible art. Placed in the sculpture garden, the miniMoCA is a playscale sized art gallery encouraging viewers to participate.
Based on the premise of ‘Little Free Libraries’, anyone who desires can drop off a piece of miniature art to contribute to the collection, take one home to enjoy, or even make a doll of themselves to become a “virtual visitor” via the stand alone kiosk located at MoCA Gallery in Patchogue, NY. The kiosk holds free miniature canvas boards encouraging new artists to participate, as well as a donation mailbox to keep the community project ongoing.
Once a piece has appeared in the miniMoCA gallery collection, they will be moved to a container on the kiosk and are free for viewers to take home, with the request of a considered donation, or a share/like/tag interaction with the PAC on social media.
