The Patchogue Arts Council is proud to present Neil Leinwohl: The Summer of Love, a solo exhibition featuring the artwork of Neil Leinwohl. The exhibition features select inkjet prints by the artist that are inspired by the 1967 Summer of Love. The exhibition is curated by Jay Schuck and is on view at Roast Coffee & Tea Trading Co. from May 21 – July 16, 2017 with a reception on Sunday, June 11, from 2 – 4 PM. The reception is free and open to the public.

Cost:   Free and open to the public

 

Neil Leinwohl is a fine artist from Brooklyn, NY. Leinwohl attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City in the 1960s before leaving school to enlist in the army in 1966. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg and served as a photographer in the Vietnam War. His artwork has been exhibited across Long Island with select exhibitions at the Art League of Long Island, Studio 5404, Gallery North, and the Long Island Museum.
