All entries are in for Abstract Blur and a web gallery has been posted for your votes at http://www.kanaphoto.com/abstract_blur. Deadline for voting is Wednesday, June 11 at noon. Please make sure that you vote for all 12 entries. You may only see the first 9 if you are voting by cell phone.
Meeting Agenda for tomorrow night
We will have the continuation of the Lightroom overview that was started at the last meeting. Photos from the assignment/contest “Abstract Blur” will be critiqued and we will reveal the winner and the next assignment.
Shoot Patchogue Village – Update
Thanks to everyone for sending in your high resolution images. If you didn’t, you can bring them on a flash drive to the meeting tomorrow night and they will be transferred onto the computer. A sample of one of the prints will be on display at the meeting.
Annual Nature and Wildlife Photographers of Long Island Photography Exhibition
Here is information about a very good show by NWPLI right here in Patchogue. The photographers reception is this Friday from 7 – 10 pm at the Patchogue Ferry Terminal (Watch Hill)
Anniversary PACPG Exhibit at Roast
We’re thrilled to announce that our photographer’s group will have a one year anniversary exhibit at Roast in September! According to Jay Schuck, who organizes shows for PAC, the dates are September 14 – October 26 with a reception, September 21, from 2-4 pm. Install would likely be in early September. We will definitely be showing all the contest winners and hope to add some of the “best of the rest”.
Next General Meeting – Wednesday, June 11
It will take place from 7:30-9:30pm at Shand’s Loft (upstairs) in the Brick House Brewery & Restaurant. Feel free to bring a guest.
