July 5, 2011

The Patchogue Arts Council is pleased to announce the 2011 Patchogue Arts Biennial which will take place in Patchogue Village for 4 weeks beginning this October.

The Patchogue Arts Biennial is an invitational exhibit exposing the public to a variety of contemporary art forms, many of which are not usually seen in traditional venues.  The artists are of diverse backgrounds and are drawn from all of Long Island; Brooklyn to the East End.

The first exhibition in 2009 was a huge success and introduced over 4000 visitors to downtown Patchogue and its vibrant art community. The sponsorship provided by many Patchogue businesses and individuals put them on the forefront of the cultural renaissance and revitalization of Patchogue.

With their help, less than two years after its inception, the Patchogue Arts Council was able to stage the largest event of its kind on Long Island, right here in Patchogue!

As we gear up for this year’s event, we plan to build on our past success.  We expect to significantly expand our media exposure and, in turn, double our attendance with much of the visitors being individuals who have not yet been to Patchogue.  Of course, our sponsors will be recognized for their community support and dedication to the arts. For more information on sponsor recognition, please click here to view the Sponsorship Opportunities forms.

We ask you to please join us and support the Patchogue Arts Council’s 2011 Patchogue Arts Biennial. We are thrilled to be offering two new levels of $50 and $100 for individual supporters to our existing opportunities.  With this level of support your name will be listed on the supporter page in the catalog.

Sponsorships can be purchased by sending a check along with the Sponsor Opportunities form to PO Box 771, Patchogue NY 11772.  Please contact Jessica McAvoy with any questions regarding sponsorship opportunities at pacpromo@yahoo.com.

Thank you for your support for the 2011 Patchogue Arts Biennial!

Sincerely,

The Patchogue Arts Council Board of Trustees
