Surrealism with Prof. John Cino
Taking cues from theorist Andre Breton and his interpretation of Sigmund Freud, the Surrealists used visual art to explore the human psyche. Early Surrealists, Ma Ernst and Joan Miro, created an abstract Surrealism based on automatism and chance. Later Surrealists, Dali and Magritte worked in Representational Surrealism creating works evocative of dream states.
