PATCHOGUE, NY – September 2, 2014– The Patchogue Arts Council is proud to present Suffolk Arts Councils: Juried Members Exhibition, on display at the Patchogue Arts Gallery from September 14 through October 26. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, September 14, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. The reception is free and open to the public.

Suffolk Arts Councils: Juried Members Exhibition invited all current members of any Suffolk County based Arts Council to submit artwork for consideration. Janet Goleas, a freelance curator, blogger, and artist from the East End, juried the exhibition. The exhibition features an eclectic mix of artwork from multiple Suffolk County Arts Council members. The exhibition is a part of the PAC MAC Festival, a downtown-centric, multi-day, multi-venue festival encompassing music, visual arts, and cinema that will run from October 17 – 26, 2014. A closing reception will be held at the Patchogue Arts Gallery on October 26, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM, in conjunction with the conclusion of the festival.
ABOUT THE PATCHOGUE ARTS COUNCIL – The Patchogue Arts Council, Inc. was formed to encourage, support, and promote the arts while aiding in the revitalization and sustainability of the community. The Patchogue Arts Council, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose focus is to serve the greater south shore of the Town of Brookhaven.
