PATCHOGUE, NY – June 15, 2016 – The Patchogue Arts Council is proud to present Wood, Waves & Words: Sculptures by John Cino on display at the Patchogue Arts Gallery from July 9 to August 21, 2016. The exhibition features a dozen works completed by sculptor John Cino within the past year, including works completed this past spring during an artist residency at Stony Brook University. Several works, such as Dialogues and Song Waves, find the artist incorporating various sounds and languages into his sculptures. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, July 10, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. The reception is free and open to the public.

John Cino has been lead curator of the Patchogue Arts Council since its inception in 2008 and has brought numerous artists to the attention of the Patchogue community and beyond. On invitation from the Patchogue Arts Council Board of Trustees, Cino will be turning the table by introducing his artwork to the community.
