Somatic Movement Workshop for the New Year
Sarah Johansson Locke & Andrea Cote
January 6 from 11:00 AM -12:30 PM (Suggested donation at the door $5)
As we embark on a new calendar year, what would you like to bring with you, release, and call in? This workshop provides a chance to explore through movement and creative prompts that will give you space to reflect, release, reclaim, and renew. When we tune into body and breath through sensory awareness and somatic movement, we find ways to connect with our inner and outer resources with curiosity and care. We discover a greater capacity to be with what’s present and act with intention and agency. Join us to get what you need, and leave what’s no longer needed, as we move into the new year.
Open to women, female-identifying and non-binary participants
Please register by emailing [email protected]
This workshop is organized and presented by Andrea Cote as a special closing event for her 2023 NYSCA funded project This is My Body/Éste es Mi Cuerpo.
