When I was in elementary school, a teacher thought I had some art ability, prompting my parents to put me in a neighborhood art group. Also in elementary school, I began writing simple poems. I have continued both of these activities on and off for my entire life. I also take photos and do crafts. I love anything creative, including music, cooking, design, and gardening. I do art for myself, but it is nice, once in awhile, to be acknowledged. I have no training in any of my creative activities. I have some multi-media ideas and hope to have a volume of 150 poems published. I worked in the mental health field for 32 years and I am retired now.
