September 7 | Performance Art Film screening @ Plaza MAC Cinema
September 8 | Day long happenings in the Village of Patchogue

PAC • MoCA L.I. has created a number of innovative art festivals. We are proud to announce another exciting opportunity, On the Spot L.I., Long Island’s first performance art festival September 7-9.  We are looking for 10 performance artists / groups / collectives to perform during the happenings days of On the Spot L.I. in downtown Patchogue Village. Performances will be every thirty minutes starting at noon at 5 iconic locations.  The duration of each performance should be between 15 and 20 minutes.

Artist Stipend | $250 per artists / groups / collectives

 Performance Locations:

Capital One Plaza

MoCA L.I. (Outside)

Village Green in New Village Plaza

Carnegie Library

Furman’s Square

 
Submission Guidelines:

• Send links to a minimum of  1 video clip – no more that 5 minutes (max 3 video links)

• 2 still images of a performance

• Written statement/ artist statement about the performance•

• Artist(s) Bio 

Preferred choice of three locations

DEADLINE | Submissions should be received by | August 12 (midnight)

NOTIFICATION | August 15 Individual planning meetings with PAC staff will be scheduled once notified. Final time and location to be discussed after notification
