Calling all artists for an exciting opportunity! We invite you to select from a curated collection of law books and transform them into captivating works of art. Whether you’re envisioning altered books, stunning sculptures, intricate collages, imaginative assemblages, or even wearable works, the chosen book(s) should serve as the cornerstone of your creation.
Each artist may submit up to two entries for consideration. A distinguished panel from the Patchogue Arts Council curatorial team and Egan & Golden, LLP will select three final outstanding works.
Each chosen artist/ artist group will receive a generous stipend of $600.
But that’s not all! The selected artworks will join the prestigious permanent collection of Egan & Golden, LLP, enriching three distinct locations with your visionary contributions, including the Suffolk County Bar Association.

REGISTRATION | Deadline August 30, 2024
ARTISTS you must register first. Artists can choose between using 1 – 5 books. Unused books must be returned. After you register you will receive a list of book pick up dates.
SUBMITTING FINAL WORKS | Deadline October 15, 2024 Once you have created your piece you will submit your work for consideration using the button below.

Awards | Top three chosen works will receive $600 each
Works will then become the property of Egan & Golden, LLP and will be gifted to three locations for inclusion in their permanent collection.
Submission Guidelines Maximum of two submissions per artists (artists will only be awarded one prize) Up to 5 images per submission (this is important if you are submitting sculpture).
